Italian onion antipasti

Italian appetisers express a zest for life – so why not share it with others: Our onion antipasti are a great gift to bring to the next party!

Preparation:

  1. Peel the onions and cut into strips. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sweat the onions until translucent (approx. 15 minutes).
  2. Deglaze with vinegar and add the Hermesetas Granulated and salt. Simmer for 5 more minutes before adding the broth.
  3. Simmer over a low heat until the onions are soft (approx. 10 minutes). Remove from the heat and either serve immediately or allow to cool before filling into glass jars and storing in the refrigerator.

    Hint: Packaged nicely, the onion antipasti make for a great gift from your kitchen – for example at the next barbecue!
