Fluffy apple cake with marzipan and almonds

Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C top and bottom heat. Grease a large loaf tin. Melt the butter. Peel the apples and chop into small pieces. Dice the marzipan. Set both aside.
- Place all the ingredients into a bowl and combine until smooth. Spoon the batter into the tin, top with the chopped almonds and bake on the middle shelf for around 60 minutes.
