Crunchy chocolate muesli (granola)

Too many raisins? Not enough nuts? Something missing? Make your own crunchy chocolate muesli containing all your favourite ingredients!

Preparation:

  1. Place the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the apple puree and coconut oil to the dry ingredients, mix well and spread onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  2. Bake (or dry) the granola for around 45 minutes at 160 °C top and bottom heat. Open the oven a little every ten minutes to allow the steam to escape and to stir the granola. If the granola is still damp after 45 minutes, leave in the oven for longer.
  3. Once the granola is dry, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container and use within a few weeks.

    Hint: It is very important to make sure that this crunchy muesli is completely dry and cool before packaging (otherwise it may start to mould).
