Baked apples with pecan crunch

Baked apples with a crust made from pecans: a true taste explosion thanks to the seasoning mix of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and nutmeg.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Peel the apples, cut off the top and remove the core.
  2. Roughly chop the pecan nuts and place in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Fill the apples with the pecan nut mixture and press down lightly.
  3. Place apples on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
  4. Remove the baked apples from the oven and allow to cool. Garnish with lightly whipped cream.
