Baked apples with pecan crunch
Baked apples with a crust made from pecans: a true taste explosion thanks to the seasoning mix of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and nutmeg.
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Peel the apples, cut off the top and remove the core.
- Roughly chop the pecan nuts and place in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Fill the apples with the pecan nut mixture and press down lightly.
- Place apples on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 40 minutes.
- Remove the baked apples from the oven and allow to cool. Garnish with lightly whipped cream.
